Download eva from the App Store now
From today, you can download eva from the App Store for free. The new video social network allows you to shoot and share full screen portrait videos. Why portrait? Believe it or not, it’s the default filming position that most people use on mobile devices.
So what’s the experience? The first time you open eva you’ll see the (patent pending) “evafeed”, a public stream of consciousness that is the heart of the app. There’s no sign-up or awkward registration process, you just get to see other users of the app straight away. Like what you see? Then set up a profile and start engaging. Still unsure? Then come back later and you’re almost guaranteed to see loads of new and original content.
Want to share your content from the app? No problem – you can share videos to Facebook, Twitter and more. It’s a socially engaging app, allowing you to create hashtags, like and comment on other people’s videos, and set up a following of other users.
eva is cloud-based, so there’s no need to worry about having memory available for all your videos. Coming soon in future upgrades are two patent pending features – a filter that contains more than 36,000 options in a simple, intuitive design, and a trim feature which offers unique navigation through the content you create.
Launched initially in the UK, Ireland, Netherlands, Sweden, Iceland, Finland, Norway, Denmark and Belgium, eva will be available in more countries in the coming weeks.
